Ok to say Rosary during Eucharistic Adoration?

Is it ok (proper) to say the Rosary silently during Eucharistic adoration? I thought I seen a tread on this before but I could not find it. Would it be ok or not?
 
It sure is ! The rosary is often refered to as “The Poor Mans Gospel” or “The Little Gospel”. It is the life of Christ through prayer.

When spending time with Our Lord in Adoration, I will frequently say a complete rosary (all 20 decades) followed by the chaplet of the Divine Mercy. Takes just about 1 hour …

YES! In fact in St. Louis de Montfort’s True Devotion to Mary he tells us that Mary brings us even closer to her Son in a way we are unworthy to. Check out the consecration-also- great stuff. 🙂

Dear friend

It is ok and more than this it is the honouring of Jesus’ Mother Mary before Him, I think this would greatly gladden His Sacred Heart.

I pray the Chaplet of Divine Mercy during Adoration and it is not only moving, but how wonderful to ask for mercy before Our Lord in His Real Presence.

We say the whole rosary together during our All-night eucharistic vigils. It is to be recommended. If it is not licit to say the rosary in front of the Blessed Sacrament, then it is never licit to say the rosary.
 
In a word, YES! Any approved prayer is ok to say during Eucharistic Adoration. Different people have different ways for adoration. I’ve seen some reading their bibles. Lecto Divina is a good way to go. In a nut shell, it’s reading the bible with your heart open to God. When you ge to a passage that “speaks” to you, you stop there and pray over it. It is a way to open yourself to God’s promptings.
 
It is proper to pray the Rosary during Eucharistic Adoration. The Rosary is a prayer remembering the mysteries of Christ, His life, death and resurrection (The Paschal Mystery).

What has caused this practice to be questioned is when groups would pray the Rosary, they would expose the Blessed Sacrament for their recitation of the Rosary. To expose the Blessed Sacrament just to pray the Rosary is not correct. However, when the Blessed Sacrament is exposed for Eucharistic Adoration, then praying the Rosary is proper.
 
There was once an old woman. She went into the village church to pray one day before the altar of our Lady. The Priest, seeing her deep in prayer went to the choir loft and softly called to her. She did not respond. He called to her again, this time a little louder, saying: my child, this is Jesus. Still she was fixed upon the statue of our Lady. The Priest called yet a third time, still louder. The woman finally responded: Would you shut up, Lord; I am trying to talk to your Mother.

Usually told with an Italian grandma, but i have heard two German versions that are far worse.
