OK. We are not allowed to test God. Are we also forbidden to test the possible IMPOSTORS, who only claim to be God?

Of course. The only problem is that it has been tried, and nothing ever happened.
I was tempted to just answer: “Yet.”
But that would sound snarky, and I don’t wish to be disrespectful.

I do however believe that God sets the schedule. I’ve had prayer requests answered almost at once, and I’ve had them answered after years of prayer and waiting. I’ve had times when I received a clear answer and the answer was “no”.
You understand me just fine. The problem is that it was an open-ended petition, not something that can be evaluated any time. It can always be “pushed back”.
Mmm. This is a valid point.

Very good response. You see, I did not ask for something ridiculous, or outrageous, like a bucket filled with diamonds. Only things that are supposed to be in line with God’s alleged desires. Peace, love, happiness, caring… and stuff like that.
Mmm. This is a valid point.
Thank you for a good answer. 🙂

So, what evidence will you accept?
Anything that only God can do. After all only God has full dominion over the world.
How about existence itself?
Who can “do” existence?
If you can p(name removed by moderator)oint responsibility for existence itself, you will have your proof.

Or as a more basic question, you could ask if existence is willed or if existence (or “being”) is merely accidental.
If being is willed, then you must look for the one who wills it. If accidentalism rules then existence has no meaning and what we are doing here is absolutely pointless.

So, you will accept any evidence? You do not need something specific?

That would work. God comes and declares that he is going to create a few new planets within the solar system. Something like that would be a true miracle. Something that no impostor could duplicate.

I said: anything that only God can do. Of course I could give specific examples. Like the one above. (By the way, your video does not play.)

I got ya.
You want a sign.
What about participating in existence itself? I mean you, yourself, existing without your willing it.

Is that a sign that something transcendent is in operation?

How about the fact of existence itself? You exist. I exist. The world exists. Is that not evidence?

Have you ever read C.S. Lewis’ “Mere Christianity?” I think it would be very helpful for you.

No, not that particular book. I have read many other apologist books. Unfortunately none of them were helpful.

Is it available on-line?

I started to read it, but it deserves a separate thread of its own. I will start.
