Okay to want married priests?

Is it wrong for a Catholic to hope that one day priests will be allowed to marry once again?

Hi,

They already do in some Eastern rites. If a man wants to be a married priest, he can join one of them.

But to want to deny the Church a celibate clergy in the Latin rite is a futile desire and one that is against the mind of the Church. I would not encourage anyone to pursue this.
