Okay to watch the X-Files?

When the X Files first started a few years ago, I watched the shows, shall I say, religiously? The newer ones don’t have the humor, or the goofiness of those first ones. I still watch the show once in a while, but if I feel that I am being “drawn” into them, I stop watching. I think we as adults can usually make good moral judgements of what is good, or bad for us… Thinking adults.
