I’ll refraise my question.

If a dead person eating never happens, then why does a dead person having sex happen?

Also, I thought in the Muslim heaven there are rivers of honey and exotic fruits. Wouldn’t the dead eat these?
Everyone, pay attention…i’m going to try to explain this! InshAllah, you wil understand

How can ye reject the faith in Allah.- seeing that ye were without life, and He gave you life; then will He cause you to die, and will again bring you to life; and again to Him will ye return. (Quran 2:28)

When you are enjoying the rewards of paradise, you are again ALIVE!!

Again, when do we get these rewards??

The life of this world is alluring to those who reject faith, and they scoff at those who believe. But the righteous will be above them on the Day of Resurrection; for Allah bestows His abundance without measure on whom He will. (Quran 2:212)

If it is still not clear, please let me know

Now, the day of resurrection has not come (anybody disagree?)…so the dead people are still dead (unresurrected) therefore, they can not pray or do anythign else.

May God make the truth clear enough for us to see. Ameen

Either you are sidestepping the issue I am bringing up, or you definitely did not get it …… I will suppose that you did not understand my points, so I am going to explain it in more detail:

The issue at hand is whether dead people can make intercessory prayers for the living, as we Catholics believe …… you have said that is impossible for a dead person, however, you have claimed time and again that god rewards people with everything and anything they desire when they are in heaven ….

So again, since I definitely enjoy more giving to others than to myself, provided I go to heaven, when I die, according to your belief, I am going to be able to pray for my family and friends who are still on earth …… in case you have not noticed it, there’s a glaring contradiction in your beliefs …… here I am going to show it point by point:

1.- dead people in heaven will get anything and everything they desire, according to islam (including carnal pleasures and having orgies with 72 virgins!!!) ……

2.- based on that, people like me, provided I go to heaven, will pray for the well-being of my family …… if you say that god grants everything and anything to dead people in heaven, surely, god should not have a problem granting me my wish to intercede for my family and friends !!!

3.- however, you also say that intercessory prayers have no place in islam !!!

As you can see Faith01, point 3 is in direct contradiction with points 1 and 2 ……

And thanks for confirming that the Koran is anything but complete !! …. While muslim men can fantasise about the orgies they will have with their 72 virgins, you muslimah’s are left wondering what’s in it for you …… so sad that allah forgot to detail the rewards you will have in heaven ……

You said you are not looking for a “commercial” on what heaven’s going to be like …. Fair enough …… that’s why I am wondering why allah forgot to display a very explicit commercial on what’s in heaven for men, but somehow forgot to display an equally explicit “commercial” for women …….

A similar situation occurs with respect to the disciplining of misbehaving wives: your allah is very explicit and detailed on ho to discipline misbehaving wives, while at the same time allah is not as explicit and detailed on how to discipline misbehaving husbands ……

Is it just me, or does someone else detect a pattern here???

Could you please reply with precise and straight answers???

Thanks

You know something Faith01?

lol. Relax. As Muslims we believe that we only have this life. If we were allowed to pray and ask for stuff afterwards, then really, death means nothing. Death is the end. Its hard to accept, i know, but really it is the truth.

In heaven the greatest and best reward is to be in the presence of our Creator. However, it is also a physical place where physical desires are fullfilled.

I will say this, and i have said it before. Muslim men…the ones who actually get those rewards in heaven…are the ones that arent having sex with everyone on this earth. THey are the ones that are lowering their gaze whenever they see a half naked women. They are the ones who have struggled against themselves to guard their chastity. And as a muslim female, i say, in paradise they should get all the things they want. Ofcourse, women will have their rewards too.

Trust me, if you could pray for anyone, the only person you would be praying for is yourself. Its our nature, and when you see the fire of hell, you will forget your mother’s name.

You can, howerver, struggle to find the truth in this life…and pray that your family and friends are guided also. You can ask for their forgiveness, etc. But when you die…thats it.

good question. Each and every person will get, as Allah says "'I have prepared for My righteous servants what no eye has seen and no ear has heard, not has it occurred to human heart’
" Meaning, everyone will be completly satisfied and happy

‘And no soul knows what joy for them (the inhabitants of Paradise) has been kept hidden (Quran Chapter 32 Verse 17)’

This is what I know. As a Muslim, I am not looking for a commercial on what heaven is going to be like…thats a waste of time. I spend my time trying to make it there! May Allah guide us and make that journey easy.

I am going to show you clearly that your beliefs are totally contradictory ……

You said “dead” people can not pray??? …… so I am going to ask you a question:

According to islam, are Moses, Jesus, Abraham, etc dead or alive???

Can “dead” people pray??

In the “night” journey that your prophet allegedly once made, he reportedly saw Jesus, Moses and Abraham doing something very familiar with what we Catholics think some “dead” people do:

. of the Prophets were tied before the Apostle of Allah, may Allah bless him. He (the Prophet) said: I saw the Prophets who had assembled there for me. I saw Abraham, Moses and Jesus and, I thought there must be some one to lead them (in prayers); Gabriel made me go forward till I offered prayers in front of them and inquired from them (about their mission). They said: We were commissioned with Unity (of Allah).

Were Jesus, Abraham and Moses praying or not Faith01???

Thanks

Yes they prayed but not in the sense that they pray for us. When you pray to a man who is dead . This man doesnt have the ability to help you . Besides why do u need to pray to Him when you can directly pray to God? isnt God supposed to be nearer to you than any body else? why need intercessors?!

The original poster’s opening question and his follow-up question have been answered to his satisfaction
Okay then, that clears it all up. No further questions here 👍
Subsequent posters took the original poster’s premise into other areas, using as an excuse an analogy that was made to explain the answer given to it. The resultant posts, in addition to being off-topic, were frequently inflammatory, baiting, and mocking in nature. Given the decided lack of charity that now prevails in this thread and that the queries posed by the original poster have been answered to his satisfaction, this thread is closed!
