Yes these are all recent photos. In fact they’re protected state landmarks

The previous photos are all from the Internet, the only one I’ve actually visited and taken photos of is Immaculate Conception in Panna Maria. It’s a tiny Polish community established by immigrants in 1854 (Panna Maria is Polish for Virgin Mary). I visited on my way home from vacation in 2017 from Corpus Christi (the city) due to my faith and partial Polish heritage. The town is about 50 mi southeast of San Antonio.

Dominicans, eh? 😀 Absolutely beautiful! I wonder if they even have anyone proficient enough in stone masonry to do that kind of detailed work today.

Dominicans are great with stonework. They designed my home parish of St Thomas Aquinas Dallas, TX. Not terrible old, completed maybe 75 years ago, are the murals of Maxo Vanka inside St. Nicholas Church in Millvale PA just outside of Pittsburgh.

Interesting and unique, documents the Catholic Croatian immigrants that arrived to work in US industry.

St Thomas Aquinas? Yes the altar is different and Mass is versus populem, but it is still a very reverent and traditional parish. The side altars were also converted into votive shrines. The black and white photo is pre V2
