I thought of posting this item here, but didn’t as it isn’t an Eastern Rite question, but really a story on the Old Believers within the Russian Orthodox community:

Anyhow, just noting it as there’s quite a few Orthodox who stop in here, and I thought they might find the article interesting.

I just got the Russian Orthodox Old Rite prayerbook from the ROCOR Old Rite parish in Pennsylvania. Pretty neat stuff.

That article was incredibly interesting, ironically I just came home from Juneau, Alaska two days ago (visited it for the first time, I live in PA). Right across the street from the Cathedral in Juneau is a beautiful Russian Orthodox church called St. Nikolai, I believe. I went in and learned about St. Herman the Russian Orthodox monk that came to Alaska. I did plenty of research the next day all about Eastern and Western Catholicism. My Great-Grandma, may she rest in peace, was a Ukrainian Orthodox, but the rest of my family is all Roman Catholic, including her son (my grandfather). Its really interesting to learn about all the different types of Catholicism, and it’s super ironic that this has been all thrown in my face so much recently. I’m not sure if its the Holy Spirit trying to say something or what, but I love the article. Thank you.

You should go to a Divine Liturgy sometime at a Ukrainian Catholic Church. 👍
