Great. So now the price will go up and supplies will go down and those of us who use it for Lupus & RA will be paying even more now, if we can get it at all.
 
In his post @Zzyzx_Road said the patent is run out so it should be able to be manufactured widely.
 
Yes, it’s a generic drug … I’ve been on it for 20 years.
 
Pretty certain that they are going to use the drug on critical patients pretty much immediately … it’s widely used and has few side effects … and most of the side effects are for long-term use … the French said they only needed to use the drug for six days.
 
It doesn’t need to work for everyone to still have a major impact. No single HIV treatment solved it, but a combination of treatments have made a huge difference.
 
I moved this to prayer forum … I really want people to pray that this works for everyone … I made the thread in spirituality by mistake.
 
Eternal God, in whom mercy is endless, and the treasury of compassion inexhaustible,

It was directionally accurate. The Admin recommended it be fast tracked and it was was quickly approved for ‘compassionate use’, so it is now a treatment available to the medical community.

I expect afflicted areas like Washington will quickly gather the data to confirm continued use.
