Right, but there are no shirts, parades and groups promoting extramarital straight sex!

It has nothing to do with how nice the people are, it’s still wrong.

I love my cousin very much. He is a wonderful man, but his lifestyle is wrong. It breaks my heart to know that his soul is in much trouble. It doesn’t mean that I don’t love him or that I don’t think he’s a nice guy. And his lifestyle does have an impact on me as I want the people I love to have every chance to get to Heaven, knowing that he is doing something that will most likely keep him from getting there is upsetting.
Your gay cousin has as much of a chance of getting into Heaven as you do. Loving someone of the same gender has absolutely no impact on their possibility to enter Heaven, providing they are married before engaging in relations.

This is why it breaks my heart to see gay marriage recognized in so few locations; gay couples cannot experience the physical aspect of their relationship [without sinning] without first being married, and having it foolishly outlawed in so many locations adds just another obstacle to their journey.

As things progress, our children will be more and more exposed to the pro-gay message which tries to promote it as a healthy lifestyle when it isn’t. While we are to love and sympathize with those who struggle with SSA, we shouldn’t help to promote it especially to young children.
Exactly - this is just another example of how the popular culture is trying, succeeding, to shape our children to believe that. Thank you for posting this. SSA is an area of brokenness that needs God’s healing, as we all need healing in greater or lesser degrees in our lives. We do people no favor in turning a blind eye.

Old Navy does not have well made clothes so I won’t be shopping there anyways. Pathetic that they are now going to be encouraging the gay lifestyle.

This could be very patronizing to a gay person. We are all born unique and beautiful in our own way.

So what makes a person “gay”? So a gay person tries to deny his true self as a result of his parents not accepting it, gets married to a woman and then can’t stand having sex with her b/c he finds having sex with a woman unappealing.

If my son were gay, I would not treat it like a disease. I would love him and tell him that being gay is ok. I would then explain the church’s position to him.

Gay people have made so many wonderful contributions to our society…hair stylists, designers, etc. They are beautiful people. They are colorful people…the rainbow is a perfect symbol for them.
Rom 1:26 For this reason God gave them up to dishonorable passions. Their women exchanged natural relations for unnatural, 27 and the men likewise gave up natural relations with women and were consumed with passion for one another, men committing shameless acts with men and receiving in their own persons the due penalty for their error. 28 And since they did not see fit to acknowledge God, God gave them up to a base mind and to improper conduct. 29 They were filled with all manner of wickedness, evil, covetousness, malice. Full of envy, murder, strife, deceit, malignity, they are gossips, 30 slanderers, haters of God, insolent, haughty, boastful, inventors of evil, disobedient to parents, 31 foolish, faithless, heartless, ruthless. 32 Though they know God’s decree that those who do such things deserve to die, they not only do them but approve those who practice them.

Achtung people, you’re responding to posts that are months old.

And some of the people you’re replying to, like Serap, don’t even frequent this forum anymore.

Oh for heaven’s sake! If you like their clothes, shop there. The presence of a rainbow colored shirt won’t make any difference.

If you don’t like their clothes, shop elsewhere.
I agree with you. When did the gay community adopt the rainbow as their symbol, anyway? Rainbows were fashionable in the early 80’s. I’m not gay but I had a couple shirts with them. My friend and I both put rainbow sickers in the back windows of our cars and nobody thought it was a sign of anything but that we liked the colors. LOL. I say straight people should TAKE BACK THE RAINBOW!
