The explaination contained in this site is very informative on God’s goodness in the most difficult passages dealing with the Amalekites, or Canaanites. It shows God’s concern for all people.

One strange thing about these explanations is that they deal only with the events which happened thousands years ago.

Does the same logic apply to modern mass killings? Or the Bible is only about the past?
