Does anyone know of any Old Testament passages in which animal flesh was both sacrificed and eaten? I’m trying to convince a Protestant friend that the Catholic view of the Mass–i.e., that we re-present Christ to God and then consume Christ’s body and blood–is consistent with what was done in the Old Testament when animals were sacrificed. Thank you.

I do not understand–what does this friend believe was done with the old testament sacrifices? Does he not believe that the priest consumed them?:hmmm:
