Hey Guys, I was wondering what the oldest parish of your Eastern Catholic Church was. If you could share the name, a picture, and a little history about the church it would be helpful :).

The oldest parish of the Knanaya Catholic Church would have to be St.Mary’s Knanaya Catholic Church, Kaduthuruthy Kerala. It is called Kaduthuruthy Valiya Palli by the locals which means “Kaduthuruthy Big Church”. It was built in the year 500 by the descendants of the Knanaya Community in honor of St.Mary. This church has been attributed with a miracle performed by St.Mary. It was said when the great granite cross outside the church was trying to be uplifted it was to heavy for the parishioners, Mother Mary had appeared to the patrons in the form of an old woman and with her hand she uplifted and straightened the cross.
