OMGosh, turkey drumsticks!

I’m eating them right now, and they are FANTASTIC! 👍

While in the store last week, I was searching for inexpensive chicken & pork, and found these turkey drumsticks. They were huge, and very cheap at $1.40 a pound. I thought they’d crock up well, and they sure did! Couldn’t pick up a drumstick out of the crock without the whole thing falling apart. Paired with stuffing from the box and a can of veggies, these three turkey drumsticks easily fed my family of four for only a couple bucks.

Just thought I’d share. 🙂
 
Sounds delicious! Did you put any sauce on them while they cooked?
 
No, I just sprinkled on a bunch of spices–I mixed garlic, onion, basil, oregano, sage, poultry seasoning, and a bunch of others in a dish, and then sprinkled it on the turkey. Something I’ll do next time is either spray some non-stick spray or butter-baste on the skin, so the skin doesn’t dry out. 👍
