NOWhatever happened to YES or NO answers?
No.I have noticed that for the past three weeks, our priest has been omitting the Gloria from Mass, he also did it today, on the Solemnity of Christ the King. When I asked our music director why Fr. was doing this he said it was optional. Is it?
No.Omitting the Gloria on a solemnity, is that allowed?
why the need? the answer is quite clear for those who want a yes or no answer?Whatever happened to YES or NO answers?
It wouldn’t be under the Pope’s remit to deal with localized omissions, whether accidental or deliberate. He’s too high up. Any complaints should go to the your diocesan bishop.I fervently hope the next pope fixes this liturgical chaos.
