Omitting the word "men" in the Creed

Mea culpa on my previous post. I gave the wrong occurance of the word “man”; here is the one that is germaine to the thread:
For us men and for our salvation
he came down from heaven,
This is how it appears in the new translation of the Roman Missal.
 
Sometiems people assume what others want. like men might think women get offended if you don’t specifically say men and women or “people” instead of men, but they probably don’t.

I know a lot of girls who agree with male-only priesthood. you might assume because they’re female, they’d disagree, but that’s false.
 
I recently heard a priest recite: “and by the power of the Holy lSpirit he was born of the Virgin Mary, and became human.” (instead of “man”).

He concluded the Eucharistic Prayer by saying “Through Christ, with Christ, in Christ…”

and chose to change the liturgy a few other ways.
