The omnipotence paradox is only an ‘apparent’ paradox in the sense that existing religious tradition including the RCC offers no means, by any path of faith, to an unambiguous demonstration of that ultimate reality. Personally I find this a contradiction of the scriptural record, which has lead me to question the authenticity of all ‘Christian’ tradition and theology.
While Christian tradition, in all it’s various forms, at some point expect God to resolve that paradox with an intervention of some sort, I have the suspicion that ‘when’ [or if] that happens, it may very well be contrary to all existing theological based teaching, In the same sense that Jesus ended up on the cross for questioning existing Jewish tradition. Could we see history repeat itself? energon.org.uk
