Hi everyone,
As a cradle Catholic, I was raised to believe what the Church teaches, no matter what. That being said, I left the Church for a period of time and wandered through the ‘desert’ for a few years. For me, all roads led back to the Church. No place I went, be it Protestant, Methodist, Morman ever felt ‘right’, so I quit going all together. I had an epiphany about 16 years ago and the Blessed Mother, along with Padre Pio dragged me back into the Church and I’ve never been happier to be back home again. I recall a dream I had, going to communion and getting to the altar and finding that the priest had run out of hosts. He reached under his chair and pulled out a blue and white ball. He opened the ball and inside the ball were hosts, some perfectly round and white and others half white and the other half, brown and wrinkled. I didn’t think much of it until I attended Mass one afternoon and questioned the presence of Jesus in the Eucharist. I remember berating myself saying that I have to believe that He is truly present even if I don’t understand how. When I received Holy Communion, the host in my mouth changed into a piece of flesh. I flashed to that dream and rememberd what someone had told me, if it comes from God, it will be verified. The dream verified my communion and vice versa. The Mass is so important to me, the Eucharist is the source and summit of everything, everything comes to us through the Eucharist. That is why I believe so strongly that we are all saved through the Mass, the Eucharist. Nothing else matters. That is why the Catholic Church is the true Church of God. I have never questioned the real true presence of Jesus in the Eucharist since and will always advocate that the Mass is the highest form of prayer and that without it, we are lost. I can’t explain it any better than this. Everything comes to us because of and through the Mass. Yes there are other explanations for the graces we receive from God, but none so simple or as important as the Mass. Theologians can explain it better I’m sure, but for me, its simple. Jesus is the Eucharist.

Very nice! Our Lady and Padre Pio never tire of saving souls!!!

A beautiful sentiment Cinder!

The Mass is so much more than a worship service. Heaven and earth join together briefly as the angels and saints join us in worship and with Jesus substantially present (His body, blood, soul and divinity truly in our midst). Through communion we unite not just spiritually with Christ but physically – and through Him, with each other. We go out into the world changed.
