Sometimes, when I’m at Confession, I’ll remember a sin as the Priest is giving his counsel or penance, or while I’m saying the act of Contrition or even as I’m getting absolution. What should I do under those circumstances? Bring it up at the next Confession, or then?

I would suggest a longer period of time in examining your conscience, if this is a regular event. There are guides in Catholic book stores to assist in helping you review your behavior which I find very helpful.

However, next time interrupt the Priest and explain it to him, and listen to his advice.

Should I interrupt him only during his advice, or should I add it after my Act of Contrition too (I’d guess that during absolution I wouldn’t need to interrupt him, but I might be wrong)?

Read Jimmys step by step reply in the link above.
