Hi everybody and thank you for reading this summary on my unkown disease. For some reason and I don’t know why, It feels like the last past 3 years of my life have just been complete turmoil. Why? you ask? well the reasons I think are that I was in a long distance relationship for 2 years, i never seen the girl or anything else I just talk to her on the phone everyday for awhile. I broke up with her maybe like 7 or 6 months ago, and I think that was one of the happiest days that i have had since those 3 years. I seriously thought breaking up with her would make everything better so far i only find hate in me. Why? because she made me believe so many things that weren’t true, she lied about herself who she was, where she came from, her family , every single thing that you can imagine she lied about it. At about the 1st half of the year that I was with her i started noticing alot of things that me and my stupid blindness at the time just tried to deny. Prior to being affiliated with her my life was great I was always going out with my friends I was happy going to an actual high school not a home school, I still reminisce about those days and would do anything if i could get them back. But once I got with her it was good for awhile until I just became really upsest with her that i got out of school the high school i was going to and converted to a home school just so I could have more time to talk to her. As you could see I was very blind with this uspuring blindfold on me mascarading itself to be true love such a fool I was. Today I was supposed to go to my home school but I didnt because I figure if they just kick me out I’ll just go back to my original high school:D
which i do want to do, But im just too scared that I really think it’s no use since im 17 and all my dreams of being something have been if not completely then moslty all of the have been wiped away by this tyrant I call misery and depression. I truly think I wouldnt be looking extremely down on my education if I would have never joined home schooling as for the girl that confused me more, I don’t think that I would be in such misery if I would have never met her. She’s left me with this hate that I just can’t control all of a sudden I hate my sister (maybe because she still talks to her) some of the things that I loved back then I hate know. But what really makes me nervous is that I think that going back to high school will not make me better academicly, It feels like those things that I want to do will never come true, I want to have a Family , I want to travel the world, I want learn and go to college and maybe even become known for something, but it just feels like I’m going to be nothing. I am starting to have feelings for this girl but I usually just tell myself that that kind of love isn’t for me non the less though I pray for her that she may find peace within herself. I’m actually considering the army if my lord wills it, But I think that death on the battlefield is probably best for me.

Well I hope that for all that read their wasnt a problem with reading this summary ( I would basically call it) and I pray that you all in the end come out victorious in this war that we were born into and find true peace within yourselfs and God our heavenly father

Ivan, give it some time and I bet things will look differently. Praying for peace and strength in your time of turmoil.

Ivan,

Relationships are really hard - especially long ones. I was with the wrong one for 3 years, too. Except we were both in college, living together (neither of us was Catholic … another big problem with our relationship!), and talking about gettin’ hitched. It was his idea to get married. He encouraged the engagement. He set a time-table. And then one day, after 3 years, he called it all off. He told me we had to break up - no reason given. I asked if we could go to counseling, or at least talk about it, but he said no. He moved out and I was completely broken. I lost 10 lbs in a week. I cried pretty much nonstop for a month. I had to start over with my apartment. I had to find new friends. I had to redo what seemed like my entire life. It took four months before I could stand to even look at another guy after that. I didn’t have another relationship until 15 months later.

The good news is, I’m a much better person for it all. The best thing he did for me was let me go, because now I’m much happier. It was hard, awful, terrible, etc. But now I look back and I can say 100% sincerely that I have no ill-will towards him at all. I hope he finds a wonderful woman and has a great life. He has a lot of good qualities and he deserves the best. Being able to say that (and mean it) will last a lifetime, while the hurt of the breakup has passed.

So, keep your head up! Things will get better!

I will keep you in my prayers and remember you in my intentions when I go to mass.
