If you back track in the web pages their you will find out that the author is a mormon and as such he starts off with a false set of assumptions – mainly, a progression of gods.

The Isaiah 43:10 text is the best refutation of mormonism there is.
 
“You are my witnesses,” declares the LORD,
"and my servant whom I have chosen,
so that you may know and believe me
and understand that I am he.
Before me no god was formed,
nor will there be one after me.
(Isaiah 43:10)
