This is the Sagrada Familia in Barcelona whose building, still going on, has taken 100 years. The process for beatifying its architect has begun.

I have been to Mass there, it’s one of my favorite things in this world.

It is pretty, but there are other cathedrals I find prettier in Spain

Though I’m personally not a huge fan of the architecture of this church, I’m happy that Catholics are still willing to build extraordinary cathedrals; It’s a rarity these days

Not a cathedral, a basilica.

There is already a Cathedral in Barcelona. I’ve been there to. It’s the Cathedral of Santa Eulalia. They have 13 geese in a cloister.

The bishop reigns from Santa Eulalia. That’s where his seat is. Sagrada Familia is a zillion times larger but it is not now, and will not be in the future, a Cathedral.
