The series has ended yesterday on our MBC TV channel, the show had around 20 Million viewers in the middle-east according to the MBC report, but on the ending ceremony (which was held in UAE yesterday) it received many criticism from some of the local media people plus the public.

The US is trying to polish its image in the Arabic world by doing that TV series, but that series actually backfired for the following reasons (those what have been discussed live yesterday on MBC TV) :

**1) The majority of the Arabic world are Muslims, so at least one female with Islamic headscarf should be presented as one of the cast members.

1. The people of the middle east are “people of faith” (Christians & Muslims), so do not expect them to be happy when you take the cast members to Las Vegas to a strip show and expect that you would get a positive reaction from us.
2. The show had many sinful scenes including a scene for one drunk cast member who drank too much wine in a striping bar.
3. Islamically the clothing of the cast members was not acceptable.
4. Criticisms over handshaking Jews and eating in their places.**

I personally support 1, 2, 3, and 4, but not 5, because Arabs should differentiate between the person who is a Jew and the person who is a “secular Israelite”, the first one is a person of faith that the Muslim should have dialogue with him/her, the second one is a secular person who should be dealt with in diplomatic channels to resolve the occupied land issue.
