Blessed art thou among women,
And blessed is the fruit of thy womb, Jesus.

Praying for you…

I will pray for you. I also want to say that I know someone who had a breakdown. First, it was on and off rosary for a long period of time about a year, then one mystery a day for about a month and a half, then she started praying the 4 mysteries of the rosary daily, the first 12 days for emptiness from the spirit of the world (the devil), the next 7 days for knowledge of herself, the next 7 days for knowledge of the Blessed Virgin Mary, and the last 7 days for knowledge of Jesus Christ. She began each morning with prayer and mass, and she made praying the rosary easy by interspersing rosaries with spiritual reading - The Secret of the Rosary (St. Louis de Montfort), True Devotion to Mary (St. Louis de Montfort), Dark Night of the Soul (St. John of the Cross), The Way of Perfection (St. Teresa de Avila) - finishing the books in that order. She is now on the second or third week of the 4 mystery rosary, recovering without medication and in the beginning stages of figuring out how to get her life on track with Jesus Christ and the Blessed Virgin Mary’s help. I encourage you to do the same. - will try to write more on this line later

For success in one’s vocation in life
“I think that I did not miss a single day in reciting it, including the most terrible times of battle when I had not rest night or day. How often did I see her manifest intercession in the decisions which I made in choosing a precise tactic. Take, then, the advice of an old soldier seasoned by experience: Do not neglect the recitation of the Rosary for any reason.”–Marshal Foch, great military leader of WW.I

*Hail Mary, full of grace, the Lord is with Thee. Blessed art Thou among women and blessed is the fruit of Thy womb Jesus. Holy Mary Mother of God, pray for us sinners now and at the hour of our death. Amen. *

From today’s Liturgy of the Hours:

Psalm 19 (20)
Prayer for victory

May the Lord hear your prayer in the day of tribulation, may the name of the God of Jacob protect you.
May he send you help from his holy place; from Sion, may he extend his protection.

May he remember every one of your sacrifices and find merit in your burnt-offerings.
May he deal with you as your heart desires and bring all your plans to fulfilment.

We will rejoice in your saving help, we will raise our banners in the name of God; may the Lord grant all your prayers.

Now I know that the Lord keeps his anointed one safe: in his sanctuary in heaven he hears his prayer, and lends the support of his strong right hand.

Some put their faith in chariots and some in horses, but we invoked the name of the Lord our God.
They stumbled and fell, but we rose and we stand upright.

Lord, keep the king safe, and hear our prayer whenever we call upon you.

Glory be to the Father and to the Son and to the Holy Spirit,
as it was in the beginning, is now, and ever shall be,
world without end.
Amen.

Thank you from the depths of my soul for keeping me in your prayers. They are giving me encouragement. I have enrolled in Real Estate school…I will go for 3 weeks and then take licensing exam. I know the market is poor right now, but it may be something to fall back on when the unemployment ends. I am continuosly sending resumes daily. However, still am receiving no calls. So I need to think outside the box…get a new game plan in order. Im trying anything and everything from 7-11 to executive to whatever i may be qualified to do. I have applied for every state and federal job i qualify for…im on sub lists at the schools…i just feel that the more I do…the more I increase my chances…I am trying to keep my spirits up…I have been excercising and praying…this has brought great comfort. Your prayers have brought great comfort and when I come on here…my heart smiles knowing I am not alone. I especially want to thank all of you for standing by me through this time…You haven’t given up on me and that is such a wonderful feeling! I am starting to feel gods presence…for some reason there is a sense of peace…like I am quiet…like I know that I will be ok…It’s not constant and I pray for that…but I am definately more at peace then when I posted…even though my tribulations remain the same…or even have worsened! I can only contribute this to all of you…and to god. I love you all…thank you and god bless.

From today’s Liturgy of the Hours:

Prayers and Intercessions

We worship Christ, who by his cross brought salvation to the human race, and we pray to him:
  • Lord, show us your compassion.
Christ, you are our daylight: shine on us this morning,
and cleanse us of every evil inclination.
Watch over what we think, what we say, and what we do,
so that today we may be pleasing in your sight.
Turn your face away from our sins,
and wipe out all our transgressions.
Through your cross and resurrection
give us the strength of the Holy Spirit.

Our Father, who art in Heaven,
hallowed be thy name.
Thy kingdom come,
thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread,
and forgive us our trespasses
as we forgive those that trespass against us,
and lead us not into temptation,
but deliver us from evil.

O God, your light dispels the darkness of ignorance of your word, morning, noon and night:
Increase in our hearts the faith that you have given us:
may no trials extinguish the fire lit by your grace.

Through our Lord Jesus Christ, your Son,
who lives and reigns with you in the unity of the Holy Spirit,
God for ever and ever.
Amen.

From today’s Liturgy of the Hours:

Prayers and Intercessions

God, creator of the world, re-created it through the Redemption and renews it daily through his love. With joy we pray:
  • Lord, renew the wonders of your love.
O God, we thank you for your power, revealed in the whole of your creation;
and for your providence, revealed day by day in the world.
Through your Son, proclaimer of peace and victor on the Cross,
free us from pointless fears and from despair.
To all who love and work for justice,
give the gift of working together in openness and trust, building up the world in true peace.
Support the oppressed, give freedom to captives, console those who mourn:
let the victory of the Cross transform everything.
After your Son was dead and buried you miraculously raised him into glory:
grant that all the dead may come to share eternal life with him.

Our Father, who art in Heaven,
hallowed be thy name.
Thy kingdom come,
thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread,
and forgive us our trespasses
as we forgive those that trespass against us,
and lead us not into temptation,
but deliver us from evil.

Almighty and compassionate God, it is by your gift that your faithful are able to serve you as they ought.
Grant that we may hasten towards the joys you have promised
and not stumble or sin on the way.

Through our Lord Jesus Christ, your Son,
who lives and reigns with you in the unity of the Holy Spirit,
God for ever and ever.
Amen.

justlooking,
Still praying for you…for a lead, for a call, for something optimistic. Hopefully after the elections are past, the economy and home sales will pick up -just in time for a successful new real estate career.
