On what conditions are Protestants in jeopardy??

I understand that those who by no fault of their own are not aware of Christ’s truth, are granted the possibility of salvation as the CCC states. And I know that our Protestant brothers and sisters are also granted salvation as their faith communities possess many elements of the Truth found in the Church. However, if a Protestant realizes the fullness of the truth lies in the Catholic Church, but refuses to convert or makes himself reject the Church, does not pose damaging consequences to their salvation?
