Yoga is demonic. Exorcists warn to stay away from it at all costs.

The second video could be pretty convincing. There are yogis who do some pretty weird things. Hold your arm in the air for 12 years??!! It builds will power.

I have a question, so for part of my OCD therapy I have been recommended to do mediation and to practice “mindfulness”. I’m not sure what mindfulness is, but would that fall into the line of Yoga and such?

Not really, Put yourself in God’s presence or rather let yourself sit and become aware of God’s presence, and note your distractions without caring about them.

Demons can also do pretty weird things, and people can ask demons to do weird things to them and for them.

Ask your therapist. I don’t want you to get told something that may make your OCD worse - I’m sure no poster would so deliberately but it’s better to ask a professional.

I would not recommend yoga or “mindfulness,” because those are pretty new age things. I would instead practice Christian Meditation. Pick one of the truths of our Christian faith, and contemplate it for a set period of time each day, probably in the morning.

I truly don’t understand why a guy would hold his hand in the air for 12 years. Others never talk.

But I guess even Catholics saints were anchorites, took vows of silence and did self flagellation.

Not that the religions compare.

Can I just say as a PSA - don’t give advice going against what a professional has said. If there are questions the best person to ask is the therapist, not strangers on the Internet, although they mean well.

I don’t share that view. I think anything can be taken over to the dark side.
The first video was a strong contrast to the second.

There is a hunger in us all across cultures for the divine that probably goes back to the beginning. As Nostra Aetate stated so well, “From ancient times down to the present, there is found among various peoples a certain perception of that hidden power which hovers over the course of things and over the events of human history; at times some indeed have come to the recognition of a Supreme Being, or even of a Father. This perception and recognition penetrates their lives with a profound religious sense.”

Yoga is one culture’s answer to that hunger.

Be very careful with yoga. There are ties to it’s involvement with the demonic and is used as a fortuna.

Here’s what Zachary King, former satanic high wizard, best satanist at magic in the world for over a decade has to say about yoga:

I am not interest in debating yoga. That has been done here ad nauseum.

But if one has actually viewed the first documentary on Netflix and would like to discuss it, then I am interested.
