The Holy Father is under attack. Loyal Catholics will rally to his side. Won’t they?

And since the attacks involve a scholarly presentation that he delivered to an academic audience, we’ll be looking for help especially from the learned professors at our leading Catholic universities. Won’t we?
Silence.

cwnews.com/offtherecord/offtherecord.cfm

Why silence? Because Catholics are afraid. Afraid that if they speak in defense of the Pope they will be assaulted. We may very well be cowards. If we are cowards, then Islam has won. Islam will eventually take over the globe. That is their intent, after all, and they have proved themselves not to be cowards.

What can we do to speak out?
What are good ways we can show our support for the Pope and his message of peace?

  • Letters to the editor.
  • Encourage your paster and Bishop to talk about it on Sunday
  • Write in local blogs

Take the cross as our ancestors did. The handwriting is on the wall particularly after reading the Holy Father’s innoucuous lecture. So…Deus vult! I pray the “Lorica of St. Patrick” and join the line ready to defend Holy Mother Church.

It may be more support than you think.

Remember the main soure of information is the MSM. Do you think they would report anything that would be against their agenda. The answer is a resounding no.

That is not a very good answer. There are a little more Roman Catholics than there are Muslims in this world. Why are we hearing from the Muslim street and not from the Catholic street? Same MSM…

And when you do these things, please don’t forget to say over and over, that the statement was a QUOTE and not the thought of the Pope. This seems to have gotten lost in much of the discussion and certainly in the MSM.
