Just saw this one. Awesome.

Genuinely tense.

Uses the “2001: A Space Odyssey ‘Monolith’” theme…not the generic, overused “horn” theme from Inception…

Unlike many “reboots,” this one looks like it is going to be epic…

The “King” is back, folks…enjoy. :):)😛

Holy. Schnipperbutters.

Cannot wait. My teenaged son and I are fans. Will see this in the cinema!

For those who are not getting the direct link-----go to the “Godzilla” portion.

Enjoy.

Thanks.

I see that Godzilla returned Jay Leno’s chin.

This looks much better than the last American made Godzilla.

Now, all it needs is Raymond Burr as a reporter.

Yes, I know he was edited in for the American release of the original. But they can probably do it again for this one. The magic of special effects.

I don’t get it. :snowing:

[SIGN]Just kidding! It was a good trailer![/SIGN]

I respectfully disagree…

My two favourites:

Alien has to be the most amazing movie experience in my life. I went to it with NO idea of what the movie was about except it was a SF movie. All the scares were totally unexpected and effective.

I just can’t believe that I would ever go to a movie so unprepared. (And at the costs of movies these days, I don’t go to movies unless I’ve checked the reviews and know what I’m getting).

Never saw Cliffhanger. That preview makes me want to see it.

I was not nearly as unprepared as you when I first saw Alien. And there’s a very good reason for that … I read the novel, by Alan Dean Foster, before I saw the movie.

During one of my numerous hospital stays in the mid '80s, my Grandma Betty (God rest her soul) brought me a used copy of the Alien novelization. Alan Dean Foster was my favorite sci-fi author at the time.

I bought the novelization of the sequel, Aliens, also by Foster, while I was attending a wheelchair basketball camp at the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater in the summer of 1986. Finally in September of that same year, Grandma Betty took me to see the movie – which was the first R rated movie I saw in a theater. I was 15, going on 16, at the time.

And eventually I got to see the original Alien on video.

I now have the 4-movie “Alien Anthology” Blu-ray set, with two different versions of each of the 4 films.
