True, Tawhid does stand in opposition to the Trinity.

However that is not the point. The point is that the Trinity itself is not understood by muslims.

In fact the core difference between islam and christianity is the difference in the understanding of sin.

In christianity sin is an act that sunders the connection between man and God. Sin is an integral part of mans existence. It is not possible for a man to be sinless.

In islam sin is an act of disobedience given that God has spelled out the law. It is possible for a man to live a sinless life, if he follows the quran and sunnah exactly.
That is correct. But I wonder What Jesus said about the sin? Did he say in clear words that all men were sinful. That all men even the new born baby was sinful? Is there anything concrete on this subject in the bibleNT in the gospels?? Please tell.

you want to believe that it’s refer to trinity , it’s oky
but the fact still stands that it dosn’t talking about trinity nor muslims understands it to be refering to trinity
bring the verse verse and show me what it says
**The verse 5:116 is partilly telling against Trinity:

[5:116] And when Allah will say, “O Jesus, son of Mary, didst thou say to men, ‘Take me and my mother for two gods beside Allah?’”, he will answer, “Holy art Thou. I could never say that to which I had no right. If I had said it, Thou wouldst have surely known it. Thou knowest what is in my mind, and I know not what is in Thy mind. It is only Thou Who art the Knower of hidden things.

The above verse is questioning a kind of pagan belief.

[5:117] “I said nothing to them except that which Thou didst command me — ‘Worship Allah, my Lord and your Lord.’ And I was a witness over them as long as I remained among them, but since Thou didst cause me to die, Thou hast been the Watcher over them; and Thou art Witness over all things.

The above verse is decalring the natural death of Jesus. Jesus himself is admitting that after he passed away, he did not know anything about what the christians had been doing.

read 16:102

Say, the holy spirit has brought the revelation from thy Lord in Truth, in order to strengthen those who believe, and as a Guide and Glad Tidings to Muslims
**Yes, very good help Hadi. You have proved that it is the Holy Spirit who reveals messages from Allah to the prophets and it was the Holy Spirit (H.S.) who revealed the Quran to Muhammad. It was the Holy Spirit which helped (Aided) Jesus.(Verse 2:253)

I re - present the verse 16:102 below**:

[16:103] Say, ‘The Spirit of holiness (Holy Spirit) has brought it down from thy Lord with truth, that He may strengthen those who believe, and as a guidance and glad tidings for Muslims.’

So Holy Spirit is a messenger angel and angels are not Gods. planten.

You are completely wrong in one of your assertions in one of your previous posts. I had this same discussion with Sister Amy at another time - possibly this same thread? (I’m not going back to look.)

The Holy Spirit, the third Person of the Trinity, IS NOT, and HAS NEVER BEEN the Angel Gabriel. NEVER!!! This is some Muslim misconception or misinterpretation or whatever. I understand that Muslims call the Angel Gabriel the Holy Spirit, but again, that is not, nor has ever been a teaching of Jesus or Christianity.

Here is an applicable Biblical verse:

Luke 1: 35-36
And the angel answered and said to her, "The Holy Spirit shall come upon thee and the power of the Most High shall overshadow thee; and therefore the Holy One to be born shall be called the Son of God.

Please note that the Angel Gabriel did NOT say “I” will come upon thee and overshadow thee.
The Holy Spirit is only the Angel Gabriel in Muslim theology

Also, why do you keep harping on the “How was Jesus getting his messages?” question. I’ve already answered this!!! Jesus IS God. He doesn’t need to “get” the message from anywhere. He IS the message. Jesus said “I am the way, the truth and the life, no one comes to the Father, but through me.” (John 14:5) I don’t know why you don’t understand this or are you just being obstinate?
