Isn’t that the same for most Christian churches?

As a Catholic however I look at and read the Fathers who are even heretics (such as Origen) to learn about their ideas and why they became heretical etc.

I believe so. I grew up Baptist, but converted to Oneness at 14 & have been Catholic now for just over a year. However, I graduated from a Baptist High School. They never talked about early Church Fathers. It was Bible only all the time.
