May the heartfelt prayers expressed in this forum be heard and answered and may our Mother Mary interceed for us…

Remember, O most gracious Virgin Mary, that never was it known that anyone who fled to thy protection, implored thy help, or sought thy intercession was left unaided.
Inspired by this confidence, I fly unto thee, O Virgin of virgins, my mother; to thee do I come, before thee I stand, sinful and sorrowful. O Mother of the Word Incarnate, despise not my petitions, but in thy mercy hear and answer me.
 
Prayers being said for all in this thread and forum, and those who have needs which are unexpressed and are in need of mercy.

Please keep me in your prayers. I really need prayers for spiritual and physical well-being. Please pray especially for my eye health an and additional intention.

I am asking for prayers because I am on my last reserves of strength and spirit. Someone I love very much has caused me to re-think not only our relationship, but also that with God. I feel so unsure about which way to turn, either choice is difficult., I seem to go in circles about it all the day, lately. Thanks so much, and I pray for these other intentions, as well as my own.

:grouphug: I ask the Lord to help you carry your overwhelming burdem. And I ask Him to comfort you and give you new direction.

Jesus please don’t let our poor troubled friend to abandon You. Please don’t allow anyone, however cherished, to cause our friend to walk away from you. Love comes from God, and without God, in the end it dies. He who draws you away from God who is Love, in the end, draws you away from love.

When Jesus was asked, “Teacher, which is the great commandment in the law?” he replied, “‘You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your mind’ - this is the great and foremost commandment, and there is a second like it, ‘You shall love your neighbour as yourself’. The whole Law and Prophets hang on these two commands.” (Matthew 22:37-40, Mark 12:28-34).

I am discerning if I want to join the Order of St. Benedict, some other religious order, or enter a seminary for the priesthood. Please pray for me that God may reveal my purpose in life to me.

All glory be to the Father, and to the Son, and to the Holy Spirit. As it was in the beginning, is now, and ever shall be: world without end. Amen.

Amen

Our Father, Who art in heaven, hallowed be Thy Name.
Thy Kingdom come. Thy Will be done, on earth as it is in heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread.
And forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us.
Lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. Amen.
 
I’d like to add 2 intentions to this list:
  1. Pray for President Obama and the governement that they will reject the FOCA bill and stand up for God’s greatest gift, Life.
  2. Pray for my friend’s little 3 yr. old brother named Adam who is battling a serious rare genetic disease. There is no cure, but I’m sure with the grace of God, there will be a miracle for him. He comes from a good faith-filled family.

As I reflect this Lent on the Seven Sorrows of Mary may she interceed on behalf of those who are suffering…as I pray often…

Please pray for all travelers including my friends departing for Turkey tomorrow. Also please pray for the sick especially my friends Mike and Dave. Dave will be undergoing surgery Friday morning so please keep him his family and his doctors in your prayers. Thank you.
