I am coming to this forum with a sad but hopeful heart as my beautiful 26 year old boyfriend,Ryker has been admitted to a psychiatric unit after being missing for all of the night in 14 degree weather. He is so worth your time in prayer!

I became interested in these forums–with which I was already familiar–because of my grandfather’s impending death in a hospice. He cannot eat or drink because of problems with his lungs, he has advanced dementia, but I was still concerned with his treatment at the hospice and found some of the discussions here very useful, particularly as they relate to treatments more likely to prolong suffering or unlikely to be effective.

My grandmother–his wife–is a very devout Catholic and a Third Order Carmelite as well as being a daily communicant.** Please pray for them and me.**

Please pray for the special intentions of a friend of mine. One is a personal intention. The other involves her colleagues and workplace, a very serious situation with which they must deal carefully, involving the life of two children in a family.

I am still praying every day (and night) for all the intentions here.

I pray for the health of my wife and daughter and their continued faith in me as a husband and a father.
I pray for my friends, the Van Hollebekes, so that they forgive me, wed their suffering to Him, and bring our families close again.
I pray for my RCIA sponsor and that she continue to guide me through this process with a gentle hand and a kind heart.
 
Please pray for my daughter’s second grade class as they make their first reconciliation tonight, and for another special intention of mine.

Although I have not been posting as much on this part of the forums lately, I want to assure you that I pray every day for all your intentions…unless I am too sick, and then I offer that up for thoise who post here.
