I ask prayer for priests and Religious who are suffering discouragement.

I ask prayer for those discouraged and bored in marriage relationships.

Thank you for your prayers. The interview has been cancelled, and the position is no longer available, so that made the decision to take the job or not easier!:o
 
Continuing to pray for all intentions. Please pray that my husband and I reconcile and that divorce will not be in our hearts.
 
Cassie, you’re in my prayers

My mother-in-law has had a large section of skin peel from her leg and is in great pain. Please ask God to relieve the pain, and prevent ulceration and help her heal. Thank you

My husband and I expect to be flying the 1000 miles to Victoria to give support and help to our youngest son in the aftermath of his marriage breakup. we are concerned regarding a real possibility of depression, and losing his home as well as his marriage dreams is very unsettling for him. Please pray that God’s wisdom and love will guide us in helping him. There are two prayers this son wrote when he was younger.

When he was confirmed, he wrote “I offer myself to Mary so she may do with me as she wants.”
In the back of a grade ten folder he had written, “Dear Lord, please give me the strength to abide by Your will, so that my life your gift to me, may be my gift to You. Love, Trev.”
He lost his faith because, “Mum I talked to God but He never answered.” How can one effectively answer a practical man. I can only pray.

Please pray for my son, a beautiful tall (6’6" ) blue-eyed gentle man.

My heart goes out to you! I will be praying for your son and you and your dh as well. He (your son) sounds like a decent, honorable, loving young man. He will make it through this, and you will help me. I will ask for the intercession of Our Blessed Mother, also.

Sorry for the length of this - usually try to keep my requests short:

Please pray for my family, friends (2 of them more specifically) and myself. Everyone in my family is suffering serious financial and health issues and weakened faith. My friends are far from the Catholic faith one of whom is openly hostile towards it.

As for myself I am really struggling. I have been convicted of the truth of all of teachings of the Church for over 10 years and lived by them happily until the past couple of years.

As I gradually got away from regularly participating in the Sacraments, Adoration, Rosary, Scripture, Parish life etc. I have found myself participating in grave sin that had for so long been adverse to me to even think of.

I have been to confession and want to come back to stay, but even though I am convicted on a level that is beyond me that the Church has the fullness of truth and have a good knowledge of the faith, I have a nagging fear of being mistaken and going in the wrong direction. That fear has always kept me from surrendering completely (with all of the people in the world, so many of who have lived much better lives than I, why is it that the Lord would favor me in such a way as to impart His truth to me?)

I lit a candle for all of the CAF intentions at Mass yesterday and included them in the first Rosary I have prayed in a while.

Pray for all people specially my parents, brothers, sisters…relatives who run away from the Gustav hurricane . May the Lord protect them and give them wisdom ,and have a good health. Also I thank God reduce the hurricane. May they come home soon safety.
