I was wondering if anyone could steer me in the right direction. I’ve been wanting to do the spiritual exercises by St Ignatius of Loyola, but I think I need a little more guidance than just a book. Does anyone know of an app for a tablet or smart phone that breaks it down to daily meditations or directions? Or possibly videos online. I seem to remember ewtn having a series on it, but I couldn’t find them online.

Are you in the United States?

You may wish to contact the Oblates of the Virgin Mary. They have the spiritual exercises as part of their charism. I can’t answer for what they may have to offer specifically via the media you address but they could. They do have even the full 30 day retreat through their retreat houses.

You will find the contact for their retreat houses as well as their range of DVD and CD media as well as their retreat apostolate here:

I’ve been listening to Fr Timothy Gallagher explaining the exercises via podcast on my iPhone. I’m sure you can find his Discerning Hearts podcast online for Apple or android systems.
