I’m not sure if a lot of you know, but our liturgies (Anglican and Catholic) are very very similar…at least when I compare my experiences attending them. Now during the corona virus shut down that spurred me to take on a little project which is to compare the texts, literally side by side to see the differences.
I’m a bit of a “completionist” so my idea/project eventually sent me down a rabbit hole of comparing the various main publications of the Anglican Book of Common Prayer, and eventually the ancient Sarum Use Rite that was popular in England prior to the Reformation.
Anyway, that leads to my main question: does anyone know an online source for the Roman and Tridentine Missal both in English, for use in a PDF format? I could only find hardcopy versions that I had to purchase, and it’s not helpful for what I’m trying to do.
Also, I’m looking into to see if I can attach documents to these posts to “show off” once I completed my research.
