Online Theology Degree

No.

They only offer non-credit courses which can be combined into non-credit certificates with a little extra work. I’m a big fan of the STEP program, and have taken a number of those courses. I do recommend them, they’ll give you a solid foundation for sure, but are definitely not a degree program. I haven’t listed them on my resume or anything, but I thought the ones I’ve taken have been worth the expense educationally. Not terribly expensive at about $100/ course (cheaper if your diocese has a partnership with them). It’s also a good way to"try out" and see if a more formal study of theology would be good for you without spending thousands on for-credit programs.

I would personally recommend the New Saint Thomas Institute over the STEP program, only because NSTI is very affordable. If someone is not going to receive college credit with STEP, then NSTI is worth checking out too.
