Hi all,
Anyone aware of other downloadable Year of Paul resources? Our Archbishop, Mark Coleridge, has a lecture series now available for digital download. He is an awsome biblical storyteller and I highly recomend the lectures for old and young alike. You can get them from here catholiclife.org.au/Year-of-paul-multimedia

If anyone knows of similar resources I would be really interested to find out. We would like to create a list of links for our faith communities to access.

Regards,

Hey, thanks for the info!!! I’m always looking for some good information on him.

There’s some good audio talks by Fr. David Higbee at St. Ireneaus Ministries. He’s done Galatians, Hebrews, 1st Corinthians, and is currently doing Romans.

I only recently discovered St. Irenaeus Ministries and I’m quite impressed with their stuff. I especially like Mr. Higbee’s style (not to mention I think he has a captivating voice). I was under the impression though that he was not a priest, only a former protestant pastor. Anyone care to clarify?

How does that make him “not a priest”?

BTW, I do, too, enjoy Fr. Higbee’s style. I disagree with this thoughts that Galations was written before the Jerusalem Council, though. If that were true, he would have spoken with authority in Antioch and at the Council, IMO.

But the man is pretty “down to earth”, wouldn’t you say?

I’ve never heard anyone refer to him as “father”. I assumed that a protestant minister, once accepted into the Catholic Church,is no longer a minister unless he askes permission of the Church.

You know, I never realized that. I always thought he was a priest.
