Youre stating that were working on it. How in the world do you possibly suggest a better theory then God would fill in the huge gap.
With this and your other posts, you are confirming that your whole case lies on the god of the gaops argument. Ok, sure, your god will shrink as science grows.
I dont want to be wise about this, so dont mind me asking, but how did you ask and what did you expect? I will take your responce very seriously, please let me know what you did to look for God.
Through a Holy Book that has been written by 40 different authos (if not more) and who predicted the coming of the Massiah. It all happened in this Book.
And you take it on what authority that this book is holy? What makes it more holy than…say…the Quran?
You`re willing to compare a burned scar with cured miracles. That is too far of a stretch, I guess the power of the mind is so powerful after all when you are able to convince yourself that nothing supernatural happened in Lourdes.
Ah, god of the gaps again…
Lourdes has been around for a long time, and science still can’t explain none of these 66 cases
Long time? In the history of the universe, it’s not even a drop in the ocean. That’s exactly my point. Christians demand an answer right away, and if there is none, it’s god.
No, but I am not surprised by the power of the mind. This is only telling me how strong faith really is. If you really want to believe something, God will allow it to be real in your world whether what you believe is The Truth or not. It’s your body, your mind, your decision…
Okay, it sounds like you just negated your own need for god. If your mind is strong enough that it can make things happen, then god will make then happen…
That’s essentially what telekinesis is…spoon bending, etc… 
’m specifically talking about, it is Lanciano
Go back one step…sure it’s blood in the case…we don’t know that it actually turned in the first place. With all due respect, but I gotta ask: Is the possibility there that they planted the blood and the heart? I mean, the church is made up of men, right? You can’t rule that out. To start off this “miracle” you have to take someone’s word for it that the transformation actually occurred.

Again, no disrespect intended, but there is lots of room for doubt there.
So wax mask will do the job? Is that what your insisting, that a wax mask will do this to a person whos been dead since 1879)
Yes, that is a wax mask. That’s the purpose of the mask…you think you see the real face, but it’s a wax mask.

Quote:” At this point, a precise imprint of the face was molded so that the firm of Pierre Imans in Paris could make a light wax mask based on the imprints and on some genuine photos. This was common practice for relics in France, as it was feared that although the body was mummified, the blackish tinge to the face and the sunken eyes and nose would make an unpleasant impression on the public.”

Also noted here that the body was mummified…if it was incorrupt, why would they have to mummify it in the first place? Just another pointer to the hoax, my friend…
As far as wax goes I have heard the reson they added wax in the first place was due to the candles which resulted the skin to turn black with soot and dust. Thats why they now put a “thin” spray of wax on any exposed features",its just to keep them clean. Saint. Bernadette is a incourtiple body like no other.
See the quote above, it was because the face was blackened and decayed and the body is mummified that they put the wax mask on. To cover the body from plain sight.
Fatima…What`s your opinion of that incident?
It’s subjective mass hysteria. No observatory recorded the solar event. How do we now that there was no solar event? Because the sun is the same sun that shines on the US, and no observatory recorded that event anywhere.

Joe Nickell, a senior research fellow at the Committee for the Scientific Investigation of Claims of the Paranormal has done extensive research into this event. Read his writings for some good investigations.

See Benjamin, nothing you mentioned here has any truth to it, apart from unconfirmed claims. That’s all they are. And people are trying to cover it all up with labels of miracles, and with wax masks and excuses.
It all stems from the fact that, when they can’t explain something right away, instead of turning to scientific investigation, logical thought processes, they immediately put god in that gap.

Your gap is shrinking with every breakthrough that science makes.

I’ll be back perhaps Monday or so, I took time during my lunch to post this, but things are still the same at the office.

Talk to you all on the flip side.

For those who believe, no explanation is necessary…for those who do not, no explanation is possible.

Open your eyes and your heart, dear Bear, you are such a nice guy, we would love to have an eternity to reminisce with you about the ***“God gap” ***after we’ve all made it over.😉 Blessings!

I expected a better reply Bear Claw. I really thought this debate might have gone a bit deeper but I figured you were busy so I was going to let you breath for a minute. But the fact you quote only bits of my comments and reply to them it shows me you don´t want to further this conversation. So with that said I demand you change super Atheist and replace it with “haven´t felt the love of God yet”.
