I just wanted to ask a simple question. If I were a catholic or christian, would oogling at women be considered a sin - whether I’m married or single? Is it bad to admire beauty from a distance only?
It’s no sin to “admire beauty”, though it’s not always polite or sociable.
However, looking at women (or men) in a certain way can arouse lust, and doing things in order to arouse lust is wrong, according to Catholics.
Hope this helps.![]()

Does it matter whether a man is Christian or atheist or a Jew or whatever?I just wanted to ask a simple question. If I were a catholic or christian, would oogling at women be considered a sin - whether I’m married or single? Is it bad to admire beauty from a distance only?![]()
Is it oogle" or “ogle”? Either way, its a no. Not a sin from your point of view, I suppose but wrong, immoral, disrespectful…I just wanted to ask a simple question.
