I haven’t learned all the cool acronymns yet. So what is an OP and maybe give me all the other ones if possible? JW is jehovahs witness, OT old testament, NT new testament etc…

Don’t worry if an abbreviation is unfamiliar; just ask for clarification. .
You can always open up word or notepad and add the ‘new terms’ to a master list as you go along!

Ive never had trouble with the abbreviations no matter which kind of forum Ive been on even if its a topic Im not familiar with. For me at least its just a gift to be able to figure out easily what people are talking about. Dont worry, it will come with time. It takes some getting used to for most people. Each board will have their own terms and abbreviations and many times they are the same abbreviation as on other forms but a different meaning.

Most of the time around here OP means Original Post or Original Poster.
