This is supposed to be some kind of joke, right?Eh… I just like to sneak in jabs at L.A. every little chance I get. :coffeeread:
That city does produce a lot of weirdos (not calling you a weirdo) and psychos.

I’d like to make a shout out to Nikoli Tesla whoDean Kamen had the innate wit to make wheelchairs that can go up stairs! Einstein had the innate wit to develop his theories of relativity. Luther Burbank had the innate wit to successfully crossbreed Nicotine and petunias. Alan Turing cracked German ciphers, created the first stored computer program, and developed the theoretical machine on which all modern computers are based! Steve Wozniak invented the worlds first personal computer in an era where computers filled rooms. Charles Babbage invented a programmable calculator made out of gears and cranks. And Henry Ford invented the method by which we mass produce cars; which are a little more advanced than toothpicks.
I respectively disagree with your comment that “no one person understands all of it”. In my experience, the “product engineer”, the engineer responsible for the manufacture and shipment of a specific integrated circuit or family of I.C.s, was expected to know and understand every step in the entire process from the silicon wafer, through wafer fabrication, wafer testing, assembly, and device testing. Understanding entailed knowledge of each specific process step including the operation of the facilities and machines in which the product was processed. I knew many engineers that acquired such understanding and I also knew several managers that knew an enormous amount of detail for a number of product lines. As far as manufacturing computer chips, the whole semiconductor manufacturing process is a marvel of material science, chemistry & chemical engineering, driven by designs conceived by electrical engineers & physicists. No one person understands all of it, but it’s a cooperative, interdisciplinary effort amongst many people, each of whom understands parts of it in enough detail to put it all together. Same goes for a lot of other technology.
One of my other favorite programs is “How It’s Made” - it is fascinating to see modern manufacturing processes, but also demystifies a lot of stuff.
I never made any claim that we used 10% of our brain: that was merely one possible explanation that I used as an example. Let us get back on track.
Then God also gave the Nazis the technical knowledge to build and operate the Holocaust gas chambers. Knowing how to slaughter women and children on an industrial scale has no possible application other than great evil, but apparently you think God gave the know-how to the Nazis anyway. For comparison, cargo cult logic also requires that the deity cannot choose to withhold the cargo but must give it to anyone who possesses the appropriate sympathetic magic or performs the set ritual.I believe all knowledge and wisdom emanates from God. Yes the knowledge that Hitler possessed came from God, but Hitler used it to promote evil as a result of his God-given freewill…
God is one, and there is nothing else other than God. The knowledge that God gave the Nazis was common knowledge that the Nazis choose to use for evil. We should not say that the Nazis’ invented gas chambers. The Nazis’ did do a lot of medical experimentation on Jews, but that knowledge must ultimately be God given. God is all knowing, and all knowledge flows from Him.

Your hypothesis doesn’t even appear to answer your own question: if the knowledge comes from God, why the exponential increase of the last few centuries? Will the bonanza come to an end? Should we make sacrifices? Perhaps you should give Occam’s razor a polish.
“I form the light, and create darkness, I make peace, and create evil: I the Lord that do all these things.”

No I was not joking about L.A. being a city. This is supposed to be some kind of joke, right?
So what are you REALLY saying? That all knowledge in general ultimately stems from God, or that humans didn’t make complex technology, and God gave us this knowledge through DIRECT revelation.God is one, and there is nothing else other than God. I’m saying that all knowledge in ultimately stems from God and that we can use it for good or evil. I’m also asserting that we humans didn’t make complex technology. I’m not saying that God gave us this knowledge through direct revelation. So what are you REALLY saying? This is incoherent.I’m saying that all knowledge in ultimately stems from God and that we can use it for good or evil. I’m also asserting that we humans didn’t make complex technology. I’m not saying that God gave us this knowledge through direct revelation.
I believe that God created multiple worlds, and that we are the absolute lowest. I also believe that complex technology flows from some upper world or underworld of Satan. It is through the deception of Satan that most people perceive that humans create this complex technology.

The position you described has no place in the spectrum of Catholic thought.Errors of Zanini de Solcia *

Please tell me why it’s incoherent and I’ll try and clarify things. This is incoherent.
That’s a fair request. I’ll oblige. Please tell me why it’s incoherent and I’ll try and clarify things.

So you think that humans only THINK they make complex technology but in actuality Satan tells us how to make them and we do it on his orders? Because this is ridiculous. You’re typing this on a computer. If you really believe it’s the devil’s work, your only moral option would be to give up the computer and all of your technology and live as a mendicant beggar.I believe that God created multiple worlds, and that we are the absolute lowest. I believe Satan creates the deception that technology flows from us. I do not know where the technology really comes from, but I provided a few examples of where it may come from. That’s a fair request. I’ll oblige.
Let’s go back. You said:

So you think people are lying who work in groups to make this technology? Or they are deceived? Because if so you’d need to prove there’s a hole in their logic.I believe Satan creates the deception that technology flows from us. I do not know where the technology really comes from, but I provided a few examples of where it may come from.
I agree. Technology is neither good nor evil in itself, but can be used and misused by humans for both.So you think people are lying who work in groups to make this technology? Or they are deceived? Because if so you’d need to prove there’s a hole in their logic.
Why would you even believe this? Technology isn’t evil. It’s neutral. Just like kitchen implements.
Where are these groups of people? Do you know any of them? Can they invent something as complex as a new computer chip? Can they design and build the machinery and tooling necessary for manufacturing computer chips? So you think people are lying who work in groups to make this technology? Or they are deceived? Because if so you’d need to prove there’s a hole in their logic.

Yes but Isaiah’s all-powerful god is hidden (Is. 45:15), he never intervenes in the world, while the whole purpose of your god is to intervene, and as a result he can’t be all powerful. Look at how your logic forces god into giving knowledge to the Nazis - he is emasculated, without any choices, anyone good or evil can milk him for knowledge, all they need is to remind god of his contractual obligations to your logic.“I form the light, and create darkness, I make peace, and create evil: I the Lord that do all these things.”
-Isaiah 45:7 (Douay-Rheims)
Do you think that Satan ever makes intellectual contributions to technology?I believe Satan creates the deception that technology flows from us. I do not know where the technology really comes from, but I provided a few examples of where it may come from.
