Indeed we have seen a lack of leadership by many of our bishops this past election. They key is as you have said, approaching our clergy in an appropriate, prayerful, and respectful manner. There is nothing the devil would love more than to have Catholics attack their own Church.

I would be disposed to uphold the sentiments you make with the service of humility and due respect to our beloved clergy. Regrettably; there is so, so, much disunity in the Catholic Church today. Those among the clergy and laity who want a Cafeteria Style Church and those who want a strict Traditional Catholic Church. Some prophecies abound as to whether there will be an actual Split in our future Catholic Church we see today. May the Most Blessed Virgin Mary with the Saints and Angels pray for us.
