What do you know about you,what are your feelings and opinions about him?
 
Of Alexandria. The one debated with the Nestorians about the dual divinity and human nature of Jesus Christ.
 
OK. I thought you meant St. Cyril of Alexandria, but I wanted to be sure. My opinion is that St. Cyril was one of the greatest theologians of the Church, especially with respect to the subject of Christology. As to the question of his personal holiness, I have my doubts.
 
How so exactly? He was a bit forceful correct? He was at war(albeit not physical) with the Nestorians from what I read. From what I read it was his theological works that got him recognition rather than character -though that it something we can all work on that :o
 
The manner in which he conducted the Council of Ephesus, as well as the killing of Hypatia are both issues which cause me to have doubts about his personal holiness.
