I asked about this in a previous post but haven’t heard an answer yet: is there anything out there for kids-boys especially-that is like the retreats/camps the Legionaries have?Catholic, orthodox, not real expensive,& fun for boys?(And hopefully in the South?)
I checked around a year or so ago & couldn’t find much online.Lots of non-Catholic, real expensive camps, but nothing we could afford.
Would sure appreciate any suggestions.Thanks!

Several of the boys from my kids’ school are going to Stubenville on the Bayou. It’s in Louisiana and seems to be quite reasonably priced.

Did you check your diocese? They might be afflilated with a camp or recommend one? Our has a camp property that runs different camps/retreats year 'round for families, teens, mens groups, etc.

Wow, I’ll check it out.We have family in Louisiana.Thank you so much!
We used to have a Catholic camp right near by us but it closed down years back.Plans are for the diocese to reopen it one day but not sure when that’s going to happen.
Many thanks again.🙂

The Norbertines in Orange County, Ca run a camp for boys in the summer.

They are orthodox and great organization.

Thanks so much for the suggestions. Will check them out!🙂

Check with the Salesians. A large part of their reason for existing is to help kids.
