Yes, probably so.
One other thought is to stay close to Opus Dei by learning about the spirit of Opus Dei through prayer and reading.
A remarkable amount of the spirituality of Opus Dei spills out of the writing you find in the book “In Conversation with God”. A multi-volume set of meditations structured around the cycle of readings for the Mass. It can help one’s daily prayer immensely…that is our conversation with God.
Opus Dei’s focus is really to help people (not just members) pursue the two great “tasks” we are reminded of in the Church’s document Lumen Gentium: to pursue holiness and to do apostolate (bring others nearer to Christ).
Here is the title of these meditations. You don’t have to buy all of them. Just pick one for a while and work through it…in time with the Church’s liturgical calendar, or not.

Many people, not just in Opus Dei, use these meditations to begin and spur on (deepen and make more specific) their daily prayer.
Here is a sample. This one may not initially sit easily with many people who are unaware or interiorly reject the notion of the Cross in ordinary life. But it gives you a sense for what these meditations cause…conversation with God, chatter, examination of our own way with our Great Friend and Father.
“But little or great, suffering accepted and offered to Our Lord produces peace and serenity. When it is not accepted, the soul is out of tune and its internal rebellion is shown externally in gloom or bad temper. We have to make a conscious decision to take up and carry the little Cross of every day with determination. Suffering can be sent to us by God to purify many things in our past life or to strengthen our virtues and to unite us to the sufferings of Christ our Redeemer, who, in his innocence, suffered the punishment due to our sins.”
