Well if it is wrong between two men because it is sodomy why can it be right between a husband and wife. Sodomy does not depend on the gender of the persons involved. The only act I see as acceptable is the genital one between husband and wife because this is the only one open to life.
 
The teaching of the Church is that oral stimulation is acceptable as forplay, as long as it culminates in the completed marital act.

This is equally true regardless of who is the recipient. The only difference is, the woman’s climax does not complete the act, so is allowable during oral stimulation.

When you say that oral sex is wrong you need to provide some basis for your “opinion” and not simply state that it is wrong.

To gab1:

Oral sex/stimulation is allowed within the marital embrace as long as it is not degrading to either spouse and the act ends with the husband climaxing (ejaculating) inside of his wife’s vagina.

We must keep in mind that the act must be both unitive (uniting the husband and wife in a renewal of their vows) and procreative (open to new life)

Please take the time to read “The Good News About Sex & Marriage” by Christopher West and this will do wonders for you to answer your questions.

Bear in mind that in asking this question you are going to subject yourself to many, many different opinions. Some will find any type of oral sex offensive and will say that it is wrong. The truth to that is that if it is an isolated act not ending in the husband’s orgasm inside his wife it is sinful.

Oral sex or oral stimulation used as foreplay is not a sinful act so long as you complete the act inside of your wife’s vagina.

Just a side note that the wife can be brought to climax after the husband has ejaculated inside of his wife’s vagina.

?!?!?!??!?!? Oral sex isn’t the same thing as anal sex.

**It is not unacceptable between a husband and wife because the act in itself ends w/ the man finishing inside the woman making it a ‘procreative act’ in the end. Whereas 2 men having oral sex will not end in a procreative way last time I checked!!!:rolleyes: **

Since when has oral sex ever been a procreative act? The only thing that is is genital sex between a man and a woman. Why does everyone need to justify what is still lewd conduct? I see it said so often in other threads that the mouth is not a sexual organ. Yet some here must believe it is. If I ever get married I will not perform oral sex. I will find other ways to build up to the procreative act.

**If you would read it correctly, I stated that a husband and wife if they have oral sex should end in the act of intercourse of the husband finishing inside his wife, therefore ending in a “procreative act”!! Never once did I state that oral sex is a procreative act, however it must end in THE procreative act, unlike how it would end w/ 2 men!!!

Good for you for not wanting to perform oral sex. No one said that you had to**

I think that you misread the earlier post which in no way says that oral sex was procreative, it stated that it was acceptable leading up to intercourse with the husband finishing inside his wife making it a procreative act.

Since you see that the mouth is not a sexual organ, does that mean that the hands cannot be used in the marital act. Please provide me with the document stating that oral sex leading up to intercourse is not accepted by the Catholic Church.

And you have that right not to perform that act based upon your personal opinion, but not push your opinion off as fact and or teachings of the Church telling others that it is wrong. If you have documentation that states it is wrong then please provide that as the burden of proof has fallen into your lap as you take this stance.

Leading up to intercourse it is perfectly fine.

If you believe the mouth is not a sexual organ, that is your affair, but others disagree.

Oral sex between a married couple ending in intercourse is not a “lewd” affair.
