Capella Romana has a wondeful recording of the ST. John Chrysostom Liturgy… is there one of the OF that is sung (not just spoken) in English?

O Lux Beatissima was recommended to me by the Latin for Liturgy teacher of a local parish.

I recently got Capella Romana’s The Divine Liturgy in English in Byzantine Chant which is the Greek tradition and I love it. I’m Russian Byzantine and have many CD of Russian style liturgical music which I love. I occasionally go to the local Greek Orthodox Church and was looking for a good rendering of the DL in the Greek style and am very happy with this. They have several other recordings of the Divine Liturgy. The samples of their Peter Michaelides: The Divine Liturgy sounds more like a rite of the Latin Church-- it reminds me of an Ambrosian Rite CD I have.

*The Divine Liturgy in English in Byzantine Chant *comes with a fantastic booklet which I now see you can down load for free on their web site! 👍

Mea culpa! Sorry about my failure to read your post carefully, Dave. 😊 The same Latin for Liturgy gal would be a good resource for what you’re asking for. Her parish celebrates the Ordinary form sung in both Latin and in English. If nobody comes up with a good recourse I will ask her.

Yes Capella Romana’s makes me want to go to an EC or even Orthodox just for the signing… although our local church has had some wonderful singing… depending on which mass we go to… I do grow weary of the “contemporary” music setting for the high school youth at one service… 🤷
