Hey guys,

Just wanted to let you know that I was at the Ordination Mass for the Archdiocese of St. Paul/Minneapolis this past Saturday, where 15 men were ordained priests forever!! What a beautiful and joyous day!

I have posted a selection of my photos online at

You can also see my blog for more info.

God bless!

Thank you so much for posting those pictures! I listened to about the 2nd half of the ordination mass on Relevant Radio…it was so touching! (and that word just doesn’t do it justice).

Yesterdy, Fr. Przybilla celebrated his first mass, a Thanksgiving mass at his home parish (of which I’m a member) and I happened to be at the church just in time for the consecration. I’d forgotten about the mass and it was awesome to be there for that exact moment. I also heard part of his speech at the end and he was absolutelly in tears…it was so beautiful.

I met him this morning after mass…him and another friend of his from another seminary who was also recently ordained.

We are SO BLESSED!

I can’t wait to meet Fr. Hennen…he is coming to our parish.
Do you happen to know which one of them he is?

My dh and I were there too! Epiphany has been our parish for about 20 years now. It was a grand celebration, wasn’t it, with Fr. Reiser at full strength! 😃

Do you get the Catholic Spirit? Fr. Hennen’s pic and bio are in it.

I think he is the balding man sitting closest to the camera in the picture showing the new priests sitting in their pew in the pix supplied by veritas. 🙂

Great pictures, veritas! I watched it on TV, and it was truly beautiful and a wonderful gift to this archdiocese. Two of the men came from one of the parishes I attend, and another, Father Kasel, volunteered at a local shelter on the same day that I do, so I was especially joyful to be able to see all this! 🙂

God bless,

Anna

Thank you so much for sharing the pictures! Here in Green Bay so many people, including some clergy, appear to lack hope in priestly vocations. I shared this with my Prayer Group to encourage more prayers for priests!!

We had a dearth of priestly vocations too until we got an on fire director of vocations for the archdiocese. I am proud to say that his first assignment as a new priest was at Epiphany, my parish, under the tutelage of Fr. Reiser, a great priest who has formed many a vocation and many a new priest in the right way. Fr. Reiser isn’t one of these 9 to 5 priests–he’s totally dedicated to being a priest 24/7/365. I guess we have to pray that God raises up more like these great men, and I’m sure he will! 😃

I believe that one of the priests ordained will be celebrating his first mass at my parish this sunday (his home parish). And I will be in attendance to receive my plenary indulgence!

Does anyone else notice a trend towards orthodoxy. I see it more and more everyday. 😃

Thanks be to God!! 👍

Prayer for Priests
O Almighty, Eternal God, look upon the face of your son and for love of him, who is the Eternal High Priest, have pity on your priests. Remember most compassionate God, that they are but weak and frail human beings. Stir up in them the grace of their vocation which is in them by the imposition of the bishop’s hands. Keep them close to you, lest the enemy prevail against them, so that they may never do anything in the slightest degree unworthy of their sublime vocation.
O Jesus, I pray for your faithful and fervent priests; for your unfaithful and tepid priests; for your priests laboring at home or abroad in distant mission fields; for your tempted priests; for the lonely and desolate priests; for young priests; for your dying priests; for the souls of your priests in purgatory. But above all, I commend to you the priests dearest to me, the priest who baptized me, the priests who have absolved me from my sins, the priests at whose Masses I have assisted and who have offered me your Body and Blood in Holy Communion, the priests who have taught and instructed me or helped and encouraged me, and the priests to whom I am indebted in any other way.
O Jesus keep them all close to your Heart and bless them abundantly in time and eternity. Amen.
