**The sale of organs taken from executed prisoners appears to be thriving in China, an undercover investigation by the BBC has found. **

Organs from death row inmates are sold to foreigners who need transplants.
One hospital said it could provide a liver at a cost of Ā£50,000 ($94,400), with the chief surgeon confirming an executed prisoner could be the donor. Chinaā€™s health ministry did not deny the practice

it is incontrovertible that Falun Gong practitioners are subjected to mass imprisonment merely because they hold heterodox religious beliefs that the Chinese government finds threatening. But the depth of evil described by prominent human-rights attorney David Matas and former Canadian member of parliament David Kilgour in their sobering ā€œReport into Allegations of Organ Harvesting of Falun Gong Practitioners in Chinaā€ simply boggles the mind. Indeed, the authors recoil from their own conclusions, stating that ā€œthe very horror [of the findings] makes us reel back in disbelief.ā€

Immoral black marketeering is not a direct result of atheism. Clearly this shouldnā€™t be happening, but it has more to do with greed than atheism.

You canā€™t blame everything China does on atheism.
 
I believe organ selling should be made legal. It would in no way affect donations. Those who believe in donation would still donate. I dont like the idea of Govt telling me I can sell blood and sperm but they will draw the line on my extra kidney or piece of liver if I wish to make money off it

I agree. I think the issue is selling something belonging to someone else without their consent. Here it just happens to be their spare parts.
