Oriental and Chaldean Bishops

What are the norms regarding the election of bishops in the Oriental and Chaldean traditions? Do they need to be from monastic clergy like in the Byzantine tradition? Thanks!
 
Any ordained, celibate priest may be elected a bishop. If he is not already a monk, he is professed a monk immediately prior to episcopal ordination.
