How do Oriental Orthodox, Eastern Orthodox and the Assyrian Church view Contraceptive methods and devices that do not kill an unborn child and IVF procedures?
An Orthodox spiritual father may allow non-abortive contraception for the same reasons a Catholic may use NFP. IVF wouldn’t be allowed because it creates multiple embryos with intent of some of them not surviving. That is no different than abortion. I can’t speak for the Orientals or the Assyrians.
